"The Closers"

"The Closers" takes off like a speeding bullet and never lets up. Authentic, dark and complex, it confirms Michael Connelly's status as a a master of modern detective fiction.
"The Closers" is more than just a terrific mystery that slowly builds into a breathless race against time, twisting and turning to the very last page. It is a fascinating portrait of a city, Los Angeles. It, also, highlights, with great sensitivity. "the toll of violence over time". As usual, my favorite character, middle-aged and hardbitten Harry [Bosch] is the main attraction. I find that Michael Connelly is always reliable as a "page-turner" author and "The Closers" is as dark and thrilling as ever he has written.
